PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) is a highly non-reactive thermoplastic fluoropolymer with a variety of excellent properties. Its main properties include:

Chemical stability: PVDF is resistant to strong acids, alkalis, organic solvents and halogens (except strong oxidising acids), and shows excellent chemical resistance.

Temperature resistance: PVDF has a long term service temperature range of -40°C to 150°C, and can withstand higher temperatures in the short term

Mechanical Properties: High tensile strength (40~55 MPa), abrasion resistance, creep resistance and other characteristics

Electrical Properties High dielectric constant (ε≈8~12), low dielectric loss, both piezoelectric/thermoelectric effect

Environmental resistance: good resistance to UV and γ-ray radiation

Flame retardant: up to UL94 V-0 grade, with excellent flame retardant properties

Low surface energy and anti-pollution: density of 1.78 g/cm³, low surface energy, anti-pollution.
